The new standard NF EN 71-3, published in July 2013, specifies requirements and applicable for components that are contained in the materials used in the manufacture of toys testing methods.
Manufacturers are required before marketing their production, conduct rigorous risk assessments that can showcase their products, both on the general risk (risk to health or risk of injury) and the specific risks (physical, mechanical, chemical, electrical and flammability risk in particular). The new European standard EN 71-3 falls into the latter category.
That's why Baby Nee has chosen to work with EN 71-3 certified to ensure optimal safety materials.
